I am doing experiments in mice model of metabolic disorder. For that I have to do quantification od 3 major short chain fatty acid namely acetate propionate and butyrate. I had earlier tried various methods like acidification extraction with DE. and then GCMS. but I did not get satisfactory result. As because I have to do the GCMS from outside of my lab they generally run standard gcms parameters and that might be the reason for those results. Kindly anyone is there who could help me out that how to do this properly especially in INDIA? are there any facilities for GCMS for short chain fatty acids in INDIA? its an Urgent Need.
