As described, recently we found a gene was silenced in various tumor, and its promoter was alwasy hypermethlated. When using certain treatment to induce the gene expression, we found its promoter methylation decrease at the same time. If we want to prove it is the drease of the promoter methylation that leads to the gene expression, what kinds of experiments should be doen?
