I have grown epithelial cells on transwell inserts at air-liquid interface conditions. After 2-3 weeks the cells get a fair differentiation but later I often get contamination with molds. Of course I carefully sterilize the incubators with barricidal as ethanol is not successful with molds.

I thought of using gas permeable containers to protect my cells from contamination. Can anyone provide suggestions on gas permeable boxes for long term cultures or other precautions to avoid contamination during long term culture?
