I have free-dried the roe and after that removed the oil from dried roe using iso-propanol , followed by grinding and sieving to get roe-protein concentrate (RPC),The aqueous extract of the RPC was used for SDS-PAGE following the emthod of Laemmli (1970). But I am not getting clear bands, the bands appear to be very faint.

Faint bands are often the result of low protein load. If you want to use your current staining method, increase the sample load. You can also opt for another staining method.
Silverstaining is more sensitive than Coommassie Brilliant blue.

Thank you Ronald Van, for your suggestion. I have loaded maximum up to 20 ul sample. However I will try to use silverstain.
