I want to know the exact concentrations of nutrients to be added in the fermentation media.I am using organic waste as a substrate using which I want to produce citric acid with the help of Aspergillus niger.I have refereed various papers online but all are showing different concentration of nutrients.I tried to follow one of them.I prepared separate solutions of sugar dissolved it,likewise I did for ammonium sulphate, dipotassium hydrogen phosphate, zinc sulphate, copper sulphate, magnesium sulphate, ferrous sulphate and then I autoclaved it and added methanol to it.But the salts are not dissolved properly in the solution.I want to know what can be reason and how can I solve this problem?
