There is a uniform linear array with N transmitters. Let matrix S denotes transmitted signals. In fact S is an N*L matrix where N is the number of transmitters and L is the samples(snapshots) of transmit waveform.
Does everybody knows how can I plot the transmitted pattern?

Hi,
How are you generating your data matrix containing samples of transmit waveform? If you know the closed-form appearance of the transmit waveform, then you can rather easily plot the radiation pattern at a fixed distance. Let us say, you want to plot the radiation pattern at 500m away. Then, compile a set of grid points within [0 180] degree. Compute the received signal at each angle at that distance. In every angle, the energy of receive signal will be comprised of the summation of all transmit waveform scaled by path loss along with additive white noise. Then plot the received energy at each angle grid point. You will get your radiation/transmission pattern and can analyze the performance of your beamformer. Regards.
