I want to modify Navier-Stokes equation in the module "Laminar Flow" in COMSOL. I wish to incorporate porosity factor into the equation. Is it possible to modfy it or add another differential equation incorporating porosity factor and pair it with N-S equation????
It should be possible (see picture also):
1) Make sure that Equation View is turned on.
2) Go to the physics node...
3) ...and then find the subsequent node which holds the physics for your domain in question.
4) Go to subsequent node where it says Equation View
5) Here you should find the weak expression for your equation(s)
If needed you can also add equations, but try this out first.

Hello..this is my question too..but i dont understand how i can change or edit a equation in my physics study yet..in rene answer, i can not find the equation view to turn it on..can anyone help me?
Dear all. I have been approached by someone having trouble with this. Please make sure that equation view has been turned on, and that you have a geometry and material properties, otherwise nothing is shown. I can see equations for acoustics, structural mechanics, and electromagnetics. If it still does not work for you, you need to contact support.

What do you need to do? And fiddling with the weak expressions requires some knowledge on the weak formulation in general.
If some of the equations are already in COMSOL MP, you can probably modify them. Otherwise you need to implement everything yourself.
