I am trying to couple Electric current and Particle tracing in COMSOL. I wanted to know that if a particle sticks to a surface, will it alter the geometry of the surface and give me the modified electric field strength value due to shape change or are they independent? Moreover I also wanted to know about the BDF solver (cannot solve particle tracing) and Generalized Alpha solver (particle tracing).
I think you can find your answers in the manual (also see https://www.comsol.dk/particle-tracing-module). And it is probably also up to you to define the problem and control the interaction between the different domains accordingly.

Alright. I imagine that if you your geometry to be altered, you need to include Moving mesh ALE, a la https://www.comsol.com/model/the-br-el-kj-r-4134-condenser-microphone-12375. Otherwise you probably don't have the shape change, except in a linear sense.
Actually I am using Deformed Mesh interface. It allows to add or remove mass from the domain. https://www.comsol.co.in/blogs/model-translational-motion-with-the-deformed-mesh-interfaces/ While in moving mesh, mass remains the same.
Good. If you do not have COMSOL support access, could you perhaps come up with a simple test case, which shows whether you have the desired effects included or not? Simple geometry, simple conditions and so on...
