Problem description:
I am using ANSYS Fluent (multiphase VOF & solidification and melting model) to simulate laser welding process. Is there any possibility of establishing a fully coupled mathematical model of the molten pool - keyhole - vapor plume using fluent?
By numerical simulation, I want to obtain the distribution of vapor plume characteristics, including temperature, pressure, velocity, density, inside the laser-induced keyhole. The final result should be similar to the attached image.
Can any expert give suggestions? Thanks in advance.
