Any idea about how to model the tempearure rise due to the propogation of ultrasonic waves in the crack specimen? The frequency used for excitation of structures is 40 kHz. I have try to use Modal Analysis and Harmonic Response and coupled with Thermal Analysis. Unfortunately, i cannot connect the Modal Analysis and Harmonic Response to the Thermal Analysis in ANSYS. Is there any solution for this? What could be the other methods to model the tempearure rise due to the propogation of ultrasonic waves in the crack specimen?

You can use Abaqus as an alternative method. It has Dynamic temperature displacement explicit analysis. I believe you can model the ultrasonic wave propagation resulting from a sudden localized temperature rise.
Though I have not done this before, I recommand you to try the software COMSOL, this software can solve easily the problem of multiphysics.

as mentioned by Seyed Mehdi Mirsadehgi you should use a fully coupled thermodynamic model. If you compute a transient solution in Ansys using the element type specified in the Coupled-Field Manual of Ansys (http://148.204.81.206/Ansys/150/ANSYS%20Mechanical%20APDL%20Coupled-Field%20Analysis%20Guide.pdf - page 28) everything should work without any problem. You do not necessarily have to switch to another FE-code.
