You can model the RVE as a volume, with the volume of the fiber inside to the total volume of the RVE being the volume fraction of the fiber, be careful on the interface to implement contact elements if you want to include interfacial imperfections, and also be aware of the cyclic symmetry in the loading, or boundary conditions around the RVE to represent continuity.
