Hi all,

I'm trying to measure the compound action potential (CAP) on an isolated porcine phrenic nerve which is stimulated on the proximal end but every time I remove the nerve from the electrode ladder (shown in the attached file "1.png") and put the nerve back on it again right after that, I don't get the same action potential because the position of the nerve relative to the electrodes have changed a bit! how can I measure the action potential in a more reproducible way? is there a better available setup?

P.S: I need to remove the nerve from the ladder after every measurement and I cannot keep it on the recording system all the time.
