Dear all, I'm trying to prepare nanofluid with (acetone zinc-bromide) as a solution and (ZnO) as a nanoparticles. when I mix them all the particles sediment in one day, then I put it in a sonication path but the results stay same. I used some surfactant (SDS), but also it not effect in the time of the sedimentation. please do you have any idea how to make the suspension stable ?

It in water precipitates. Filter it. Use for stabilizing a suspension in acetone. A required number of double molecular layers.

Increase the viscosity of the base solution. You can calculate a sedimentation coefficient and figure out what kind of viscosity you need.
