Edelmann Thank you professor, I have seen this publication you sent to me which is quite helpful since there is a parameter table for NW fabrication, however, for DC electrodeposition in Cu NW fabrication, they all use potentionstat (3-electrode system with working electrode, counter electrode ,reference electrode) to deposit copper NW, it seems that we can’t just use simple DC power supply(2 electrode system with just cathode and anode) to make copper nanowires.

It depends on how you want to get these copper nanowires. If what you want is the material alone, and then deposit them on any substrate, Cu nanowires can be grown (from Cu substrates) by heat treatment at low temperature (400 ºC), at low pressure, and in Ar-H2 flow (for example, 200 mL / min). The yield is proportional to the reaction time. Part of these wires may be oxidized but an important part is metallic copper. The dimensions (length and width of the nanotube) depend on the temperature and other growth parameters.
