How to knockout the lncRNA alone sharing same promoter with the complementary gene which is bidirectional?

I am looking forward to knock out lncRNA at the beginning. But it is sharing same promoter with that of the complementary gene.

Can anyone please suggest me a protocol for this?

I'm not sure you can do knock out without altering the complementary. What you could do is knock down with siRNA, CRISPRinhibition or gapmers.
