I tried to import the file to Ansys but it took two days to be imported and made a crash after that. I opened the file with SolidWorks but couldn't save it as Parasolid or IGES.
In an stl file you only exporting surfaces and that is why you cannot create a "parasolid" in solidworks. You will need to create a volume. I would not recommend importing an .iges file type into Ansys, try importing a parasolid rather.

You can use also Geomagic Studio - but it is a comercial software.
Many thanks to all of you, I tried Meshlab but the number of the elements is very huge.
In case anyone is also working on this problem, the software from my company Simpleware - http://simpleware.com/ - can generate an ANSYS mesh directly from the micro-CT data.
