I have an assembly of parts designed in SOLIDWORKS and saved in step extension for import into ABAQUS. The problem I encounter is that after importing it in ABAQUS, the structure does not give a filled volume body, rather it gives an empty surface body. That is, the inside of stucture is empty instead of the being filled as it is the case in SOLIDWORKS. I would like a possible solution to have a totally full structure as in SOLIDWORKS.
