Hi does anyone know how to merge duplicate entries of my own publications in my research profile? ResearchGate has assigned citations to duplications and I would like to merge those without losing the citations, which might be uniquely assigned but actually refer to the same publication.
I forgot to mention: I did read the instruction on the ResearchGate help page but those do not consider that one cannot have the same DOI twice. So I cannot edit the entries to be the same (which would merge them).
I recommend 1) to delete the DOI in both entries, 2) to wait until the entries will have been merged automatically, and 3) to add the DOI again. This seems to be the only way.
Hi Wolfgang, thanks for the hint. It turns out that in addition one needs to make all entries fully identical and remove any PDFs.
I have same problem with a duplicate research item, one in my profile and the other in my co-author profile.
