Hi, I have very little experience with UDFs in ANSYS fluent and was wondering how to write a UDF for a 2D face, that would apply either a temperature boundary condition or a heat flux boundary condition in a checkerboard shape. I am hoping to change the number of sections in both directions and observe the effect this has on my model. Any ideas/help would be greatly appreciated, thanks
Can you please make your question a bit more specific as to draw on the image, arrows showing the direction in which heat flux you want to apply or if you would like to apply temperature/heat flux on all the faces of the green cell.
You can use the DEFINE_SOURCE macro and then use the face_loop macro to loop over all faces of every cell. Based on the predetermined cell number you can add the face profile.
