It might help if you explain the "fluctuation" of the dynamic pressure. Is this a contact pressure between two parts of your model?

Also, are you using Abaqus/Explicit or Standard?

Simon Smith I was able to figure out the issue, I was using Abaqus standard and the pressure was applied to a dome with shell elements. I had a simple error and did not change my time periods in my second step to account for the amplitude of the dynamic force. I solved this issue, thank you.
