I have collected some leaves samples from potato fields showing late blight symptoms, grown them on PDA media ( that was the only available media I have). I am trying to isolate them morphologically it seems to be good but how to confirm it through some other methods like PCR or sequencing, also guide me what are the best way I could find the Isolates?

One of the methods if you want to do molecular identification. Firstly, isolate the DNA and you need to specify primer based on your research after isolating the fragment, you can sequence by sanger sequence or another method then compare by Wild type and your infection plant sequence DNA.
The fungus Phytophthora infestans has a non septate hypha, lemon like sporangium with small papilla and white colony.
