my objectives is to synthesize zno nanoparticles by plant extract.I have synthesized zno nanoparticles by changing different concentration of zinc acetate.dihydrate (.1M, 10mM etc), different amount of plant extract,different temperature.But i am not getting uv-absorption peak of zno nanoparticles. why it is so?what i want to do?whether i want to some other characterization (xrd)?
Use dilute concentration of your sample. You will get a peak for ZnO.
i cannot understand your question but if you have UV absorption but you cannot determine the peak(broad) , you can using 2nd derivative
Your Que. is not so clear ....
If you can't get UV spectra of ZnO NPs then the problem is in your NPs
1) your NPs is not prepared well that's why you can't get UV-Vis correctly
2) If your NPs is formed well, then how you can prepared your sample for UV-Vis?? how you prepare sample for UV????
3) have you did XRD of ZnO NPs???? if yes, whether its XRD is OK or not???

If you can take PL of ZnO, so you will easily be measured the absorption peak of ZnO.
