If your particles have localized resonance, a narrower peak is associated with more uniform particles.

For Cu, Ag and Au nanoparticles, nanoprisms and nanorods, UV-Vis absorption spectroscopy can provide a wealth of information about particle size and shape. For example, nanorods of Ag and Au will show a transverse localised surface plasmon resonance at visible wavelengths and a longitudinal surface plasmon resonance at NIR wavelengths. For Cu nanorods, both LSPRs are typically observed at NIR wavelengths. The wavelengths at which the transverse and longitudinal LSPRs will appear for Cu, Ag and Au nanorods is sensitive to the nanorod aspect ratio and refractive index of the surrounding medium.
XRD can give you information about the size of your nanoparticles via the Scherrer relation, whilst relative peak intensities can provide information about any preferential orientation or strain in your crystallites that might arise from a particular crystallite or crystal shape.

In recommendation to Omar and Waterhouse Sir, I would suggest that from UV spectra you can easily determine the uniformity in size of particles owing to narrower peak due to localized resonance.
