How to get rid of pigments, such as urochrome, of the urine in order to run 2-D electrophoresis??

We are using urine samples from type 1 diabetic patients in order to run 2-D electrophoresis and proteomic analysis. However, when we concentrate the urine it becames very dark and our first dimension separation does not effectively separate proteins. We only got lines in the 2-D dimension gels (SDS PAGE). Anyone can help me?? Please.
