To find the oligomeric nature of the purified protein, I performed BN-PAGE. I am getting 9-mer and 6-mer and lower bands but they are degraded. alternatively, we have also done SEC and the results showed three prominent peaks corresponding to 9, 6, and dimer.

But in BN-PAGE, we are not able to detect the dimeric band. Could anyone please suggest to me, how to get a clear dimeric band?
