I want to stick a PTFE membrane onto a piece of Al foil. I have Ag paste and I think it is a good conductive adhesion. How can I distribute the paste uniformly on the membrane and stick it firmly onto the Al foil? My lab also has a spin coater and some ovens. Thank you.

I am not an expert on that field, however, the following manuscripts may help you in finding the solution:
"Before bonding, the Carbon cloth and PTFE/Carbon cloth were cleaned with acetone and alcohol to remove the surface contamination. The Ag paste was evenly scraped on the surface of pure Mg by KTQ-III scraper blade (China) at room temperature. Then, the Carbon cloth and PTFE/Carbon cloth were attached under the pressure of 0.2 MPa. At last, the specimens were put into a heat treatment furnace to solidify at 160 ◦C for 1 h."

I did the adhesion process according to your advice, basically by casting then applying pressure and heating at high temperatures. It works pretty well, the polymer and the paste stuck firmly together. The only problem is how to cast the Ag paste evenly across the polymer membrane. I tried spin coating but the paste seems too concentrated.

It a pity I have not answered properly from the very beginning. However, I've found paper, where Alarifi et al. seems to find a controllable way of paste deposition:
"A fine needle attached to a 10-mL syringe was used to extract the silver NP paste from the centrifuge tubes and deposit it onto the copper foils. After depositing one droplet of paste onto the copper foil, the silver NPs migrated to the edge of the droplet, showing the coffee-ring effect (CRE). This resulted in an undesirable variation in the thickness of the deposited layer. Thus, to suppress CRE, multiple depositions of the paste on copper foil were performed. This led to relatively uniform thickness within the droplet. A volume of 0.15 mL of the silver NP paste was deposited on each bonded sample. The number of depositions per sample was in the range of 22–30 droplets. This gave a droplet volume of approximately 0.006 mL and approximately 97 lg silver NPs for each deposition. The droplets were dried at 80C after each deposition."
