I am making PVDF solution for electrospinning, I only have DMF and acetone as solvents, so can you tell me the optimal conditions for this process? (ratio, temperature, time, stirring speed). Any other chemicals are fine, I'll buy them but please let me know the mentioned conditions.

Dear Tran, you can use DMF/acetone in 3:2 ratio to solve PVDF.
I have used this ratio to prepare a 16% wt.wt pvdf solution

Preparation of PVDF solution in DMF/Acetone mixture for electrospinning depends on the molecular weight of the PVDF. Especially, the concentration significantly affects the quality of the fibers and polymorphism of PVDF. For a higher average molecular weight (>500,000), we optimized the concentration in the range of 10-13wt% based on the volume of the solvent. For average molecular weight (250000-400000), the concentration was optimized at 16-20 wt% depending on the application and desired morphology. The DMF: Acetone ratio of 80:20 or 85:15 ratio works well for the electrospinning process to achieve high-quality fibers.
On the other hand, you can stir the PVDF/solvent mixture at 500-1000 rpm at room temperature. To achieve a small fiber diameter, the concentration should be low, but care should be taken since the low viscosity of the solution produces beads/defects in the electrospun fibers.
