Recent studies published in Experimental Botany indicate that certain promoters (proteins) are needed for expression of genes (e.g.synthesis of haemoglobin in human blood cells for transport of oxygen but not in hair cells). Locating the genes and their promoters can help in bio-accmulations of minerals in desirable reproductive parts. Then we will need not to reduce the phytates in endosperm causing chelation of metal ions, but the big question is how to do that?
