Does anybody know how to export element details and their relevant nodal coordinates in an editable format (like .txt) in Abaqus?
I need the mesh details, not the analysis results, and not just the node coordinates, but the element numbers and corresponded node coordinates.

The simplest way (if you do not want to write a python code) is to include the following line in your input file:
*PREPRINT, ECHO=YES, MODEL=YES, HISTORY=YES
With MODEL=YES included in your input file, you will get node number, node coordinates, element number, element connectivity (nodes forming an element) in your data file (.dat).
Attached, please find two input files with and without including the above command. After running your input file, open the corresponding .dat file (open with Notepad++) to see all the required information.

Thanks for your help, I solved the problem. Although instead of *.Inp file, I used the GUI and in 'General' tab of 'Job Edit' I checked the parts you mentioned (as attachment shows).
apparently, the files you attached to your comment are the same,I guess second file has not been uploaded correctly. but anyway I realize what I need to do and thank you so much.

You can use the same solution. Excel can easily open txt files. so you can save it in xlsx format. just in open dialog in excel. follow the attachment.

Regarding to PREPRINT solution, is it possible to apply this only for certain element set.
I'm writing a python code and it needs some data from FEM including element nodes and coordinates of this nodes. Since opening .inp file or writing all the information into .dat file requires too much memory for large models, I looking for an alternative solution.
If it is possible to write above information only for pre-selected set, it would help greatly.
