I need a script that helps me to calculate the temperature of a tetrahedral element from the temperature of its nodes, to run a series of simulations.
This is not about heat transfer. i just need a tool to calculate the average temperature of four nodes and map it on elements.
have you seen a similar script somewhere? or do you know a tool for it? or can you remember anything?
As input I have the model and nodal temperature exported from Moldflow.
I would really be grateful if you could help me.

Can you give me more details? I tend to use the feature within Moldflow to find temperature changes over time, then export the data as a text file to plot these details in a graph.
What external program are you wanting to use? Perhaps you can input the text data into that directly.

at the centroid of element get the values of shape funtions
T= N1*T1+N2*T2+N3*T3+N4*T4
Assuming the node numbered as i, j, k, l, the set of the 4 temperature values in the vertices allows for a linear polynomial reconstruction using the linear shape function. That is
T(x,y,z)=Ni(x,y,z)*Ti+Nj(x,y,z)*Tj+Nk(x,y,z)*Tk+Nl(x,y,z)*Tl
The shape functions are simply computed using the partial volumes rate Vi/V, Vj/V, Vk/V, Vl/V.
If you want a better reconstruction you need to use quadratic shape functions on a 10-nodes Lagrangian simplex.
