How to estimate oxygen content in Al-10Si-1Mg alloy and also is it possible to estimate the types of oxide present?

i want to know the oxide content and the type of oxides like Al2O3, MgO that could be present in the alloy

"Old" oxides, such as the skin of ingot would be most likely the mixed oxide (spinel), where as "young" oxides that form during mold filling would be alumina.
