As in material studio every structure is in 3 dimensions. How will I change it into 2D like a 2D nanosheet. A graphene structure can be converted into 2D nanosheet, but when I tried this one by removing the z-axis then no atom is left. Is it due to that molybdenum is sandwitched between two sulfur layers or there is some other issue? I have uploaded 3 structures. I uploaded two of MoS by showing it from different sides. I want to make it like 2d graphene by removing z-axis. But its not working in MoS. Is it possible or not? If possible then please anyone help me in this regard.
