Looks like people busy or not interested to attend departmental seminars. How to encourage postgraduates and staff to come.

Two cridet hours depend on attendance seminars for postgraduate students. For staff annual evolution depend on sharing and attendance seminars.
To the posgraduate students, We follow a similar action as suggetsed by Dr. Samy Selim. Regarding the participatio of the staff, We inform some of partnership possibilities in association with the speaker. In general, this information call the atention of the staff.
As per my opinion seminar, symposium, conference is compulsory for post graduate student and give watage for them.

Definitely that is an aptitude, being responsible with the knowledge, what I could say, is to raise attractive results to the public, ie, what will leave them as teaching specifically, to participate in the seminar
Balance speakers’ research interests, but not necessarily in proportion to those in the department

By providing snacks and quality lecture, we can attract people.
By motivate teachers through the evaluation and mark for presence the seminar .

Motivate them! How? I just don't know. Sometimes I did my best for making successful seminars (Interesting theme, good educator, good presentation, ambient, promotion...), but I failed. I think that age of classical seminars is over. Most of the clients want instant knowledge through web seminars.
