How to do Turkevich method synthesis when HAuCl4 and Na3citrate are mixed before heating i.e at room temperature?

We're designing a flow reactor for Turkevich method of gold nanopaticles (AuNP) synthesis. It's important for us to mix the reactants at normal temperature at then heat the mixture. We did a batch run but couldn't get any result. What should we do? Should we change the heating mechanism?
