It is known that PNIPAAM has an LCST at ~32 centidegrees in aqueous solution. However, as the concentration get higher and the molecular weight get lower, the LCST will be get lower. When dialysing PNIPAAM at room temperature, it will be phase-separated easily. So, how do you avoid this "LCST" problem when dialyse PNIPAAM in aqueous solution? Thanks.

I don't know the exact problem you faced. If you just want to make a PNIPAAM solution, you can try putting it in the fridge. Decreasing the concentration of PNIPAAM solution may also help. As I determine the phase-transition phenomenon with light scattering, the configuration of PNIPAAM molecule changed at 26 ℃. So, keeping it at temperature below 20℃ will be a good choice.

Actually, I am conjugating PINPAM onto HA, the viscosity was super high and it was difficult to remove the unconjugated PINPAM. Do you think it is possible to monitor the conjugation change and the hydrodynamic radius of the HA-PINPAM derivatives?
