You need to filter the sludge sample using a filter paper with pore size 1.2 microM, and then just follow the COD procedure to find sCOD of sludge sample.

Sir, thanks. This method is simple and easy to operate.

I have also found out a procedure according to APHA standard method for examination of water and wastewater but that procedure is more complex.
