I want to estimate groundwater recharge from infiltration in the unsaturated zone with a hydrologic model (MIKE SHE) that requires soil hydraulic characteristics as input parameters?
you can measurement hydraulic conductivity of soil by using two methods: constant pressure head and falling head method. this methods are using in soil mechanics laboratories in civil engineering departments.
Hi - please see the paper for some parameters and related discussions on the subject.
