I have started online classes for undergrad, master, and Ph.D. students last January 16 up to the end of May. I have request students to allow recording classes and to discuss the process at the end of the semester. None of the 192 students evaluated the process positively and expressed several critical perspectives: (1) online classes are not real "classes" and are unable to substitute or be an alternative to presential courses; (2) students lost interaction, mutual help, and all the team research field processes; (3) several students went back in their learning process, including language proficiency; (4) most students were unable to match new contents; (5) finally, the majority of the students criticize online classes as an invasion of their privacy, their rooms, living rooms, households, etc. Although I have stressed that there wasn't any available alternative during the confinement and closing of schools, the process didn't entirely work. What is your experience?
