I am using Kruskal-Wallis H test to compare a dependent continuous variable in 5 different independent categories. I want to find out if the shapes of distributions of the dependent variable in different categories are similar, so I can use KW test to compare medians (instead of mean ranks). It seems that this is usually done by looking at histograms or boxplots of distributions, but I want to use a quantitative statistical test instead of a qualitative visual presentation. What test I can use to test this?

P.S.1. I don't want to test if these variables come from the same distribution. I just want to see if they have the same "shape", regardless of any difference in median, mean, min, max, etc.

P.S.2. I am using SPSS 25
