Case: I have performed inter laboratory comparison for 2 samples and obtained our lab and referral lab value in IU/ml.

As per NABL guidelines (India) the acceptable range between the two values must be less than or equal to 0.5 (log10).

Now the question is how do we determine the acceptable range for a specific quantitative assay.?

To determine the linear range of any quantitative assay, we generally prepare 5-6 dilutions of specific known standard (plasmid) and perform assay and determine the linearity based on the R2 value and E value.

But how do we asses the log10 value for the same.?

Kindly give us your feedback
