There are various studies carried out discussing various aspects of a children's library like marketing of resources, developing services etc. however I would like to know whether there are any relevant wholesome studies which explores setting up a children's library.

I don't have access to relevant case studies in this area but note the open access library at: https://www.africanstorybook.org/ This is great as it provides translations in many languages. It also 'preserves' African tales. People can generate content and their are suggestions for how to use the content. Only problem is that being digital it does not really address the issue of access. Hope this gives some ideas for expansion of your project.
Helen Strong Thank you for sharing the resource. It is an interesting one. With regard to case studies I am basically looking for ideas that might help in starting a not-for-profit, open access children's library.
