Ahsan Parvez in his paper modeled the confined behavior of HSC columns confined with HSS using built in material model CC3NonLinCementitious2 (User) along with Attard and Setunge stress strain curve for confined concrete. Apparently ATENA 3D don't give option fort stress strain curve in built in model, how the author carried out it? I am stuck in modeling softening part. In the pic, series 1 is exp curve, series 4 is atena result without transverse reinforcement, while series 3 is with transverse reinforcement. Please help.
Using CC3NonLinCementitious2 User, you can define compressive, tensile, and shear functions along with other several parameters both in ATENA-3D and ATENA-GID interface. why is it not possible?
Just input the post-cracking behavior of your material in tension, compression, and shear tabs and carry out the analysis. Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

Well, one more question that traverse reinforcement will apply confinement pressure over the unconfined core then do I still need to input confined stress strain curve in my model like the aforementioned author did? what's the possible reason that the author use confined stress strain curve despite providing transverse reinforcement?
There is no need to input the confined stress-strain curve. Just define the parameters as normal concrete.
