Hello everyone. I hope this question doesn't make me look bad, but I'm hoping I'm just having a brain fog moment.
I gave my cells that are seeded on transwells urea in both apical and basolateral compartments. I measured transport and urea concentrations after twenty-four hours. I know the initial concentration of urea and I know the final concentration of urea, but I need to correct for the change in volume due to transport. I will give an example so that maybe it can help you guys help me to figure this out.
One sample:
The original urea concentration in apical compartment was 11.08mg/dL. The original volume was 500uL. The final urea concentration in apical compartment was 14.08mg/dL. The final volume was 442uL (cells transported 58uL/cm2/day)

I'm not sure I entirely understand the problem, but thinking, C1V1 = C2V2, and you can solve for the unknown in that equation ? That is, the amount before = amount after.
According to my belief, which may be true or false, we can use the following relationship, which is
the first volume multiplied by its concentration and the product is equal to the second volume multiplied by its concentration, and thus we make the second volume unknown and substitute for the concentrations on both sides
