Molar concentration is used for homogeneous solutions but our nanoparticles are colloidal in nature. Nanoparticles are often different in sizes (10nm, 20nm, 100nm..). Then how could we convert those different size nanoparticles into Moles. Also, many reported articles have shown their weight of nanoparticles into uM.
