I have purchased DNAse 1 enzyme from MP biomedicals (Cat no 100575). It is a 20mg package and ≥2000 kunitz U/mg is mentioned on the vial. In which buffer/solution should I be dissolving it? I found a protocol online for DNAse 1 digestion after RNA isolation. The protocol says I have to add 2U/microliter of enzyme. What concentration of stock solution should I make? The datasheet of the item has not mentioned anything regarding reconstitution of the powder. Any leads or inputs regarding this would be a great help.

Also, is there any standard protocol for DNAse 1 treatment after RNA isolation and before cDNA conversion?

Thanks!
