Intends to depose the typical hydro-thermal fabrication process ((high temperature (180°C) and prolong time (12-18 hours)) of Graphene hydrogel, recently researchers are emerging in ambient synthesis processes. Different ambient processes including Vitamin C, L-Ascorbic Acid, Tannic Acid, Sodium Ascorbate etc. have successfully gratified the faster and low temperature graphene hydro-gel . Usually, authors had kept the solution into the glass vial/ conical flux/ glass tube at 95ºC for 8 hours into water bath or Silicon oil bath. Interestingly the resulting shape of hydrogel is shape dependent to the corresponding container (Enclosed photo).

I am looking for cylindrical shape. Accordingly, glass vial seems viable for me. But unfortunately, for me some water is evaporating through the cap of the glass vial and the volume is lowering after 2 hours. So after 4 hours solvent is waning to half and resulting no hydro-gel. I firmly wrapped the opening region of vial by scotch tape but in vain.
