Hi,
I am trying to control the excessive foam formation in a 1 L fermenter where I am doing the fermentation of a bacteria that generates loads of foam. I tried different ways (antifoams), but whenever I increased the antifoam concentration cell dies. Also, a low antiofam concentration is not suitable enough to inhibit the foam.
Whoever faced the similar problem in the past and got a solution to minimize the foaming without cell death, please suggest me a right way of continuing my experiment.
