I am trying to compile and load UDF using ANSYS Fluent 15 64 bits on windows 8 but i receive the following error;
"The UDF library you are trying to load (libudf) is not compiled for 2ddp on the current platform (win64).
The system cannot find the file specified.
E:\Enass_PhD\Slug_Flow\Slug_Flow_Induced_Corrosion\Enass_Model\Customer_portal_solutions\UDF\Enass_Rola_UDF\UDF_Trials\libudf\win64\2ddp\libudf.dll"
Any suggestions on how to solve this issue??

Please check whether you are having a C compiler in your computer. If not, install Visual Basics and then try to build the UDF. Sometimes, you may need to change the environmental variables to make it working.
Also, when you try to compile the UDF, make sure you have the source file placed in the Working directory under the FLU folder.

Yes i have Microsoft visual studio 2010. Could you let me know what steps to follow as i have done your comments above and i still have same error message??
If it is still persisting, you can try to correct your environmental variables. I have never done this before since Iam using a Linux system (Contains inbuilt compiler)

Hi, thanks for your help all. I succeeded finally to solve the problem related with "nmake". I launched "fluent" simply using the command prompt of VS. However, when I try to load my UDF or the Libudf, I got the following error "
Error: Error code: 193\n
Error Object: #f" . Does anyone have an idea how to solve this problem? Shall I go to the environment variables and add some variables or what? Many thanks in advance!
First of all, i recommend you read the Fluent UDF Manual.
If you use a udf you will need to compile your code (.c file) in order to obtain a compiled library (.dll). You don't have to do this if someone give you the library precompiled BUT the library works only for a specific OS (32 or 64bits) and a specific solver (2d or 3d or double precision).
In your case you haven't got a library compiled for your OS (64bits) and your solver (3ddp)
