I need to separate polymer nanoparticle (hydrodynamic radius ~ 110 nm) from poly(ethyleneimine) (MW ~ 750kDa). What MWCO of the dialysis tubing or filter membrane should I choose? How can I make sure the particle will not escape though the tubing or membrane at the MWCO I choose since I cannot find any direct relationship between size and MWCO.

To ensure that particles do not cross the membrane you need to be far away from the MWCO, but to make a final decision you need to determine the size of the PEI. Is it linear or branched? MWCO are generally reported for globular proteins and sometimes for dextran. At the end there is no simple answer if information is not available and experiments must be run to determine the system that works for you. If the particles are not charged it is probably easier to run IEX.
