I am using a scavangers study. I am facing difficulty for this calculation. Please help me. I have a solution of 100ml TBA. As I understand from youtube, I calculated that I need to take like this, Is it right?

M = 0.005 moles / 0.2 liters = 0.025 M

The molecular weight of t-BuOH is 74 g/mol.

Mass = 0.005 moles * 74 g/mol = 0.37 g

Density of t-BuOH is approximately 0.78 g/ml.

Volume (ml) = mass (g) / density (g/ml)...

Volume = 0.37 g / 0.78 g/ml ≈ 0.47 ml

Therefore, you would need approximately 0.47 ml of tertiary butyl alcohol to make a 5 millimole solution in 200 ml.
